What is spiritual direction?
Spiritual direction is a dedicated space to explore your own spiritual truths and untruths. It is a time to ask deep questions of yourself and your understanding of the divine. It is an opportunity to cultivate the spiritual principles you desire and to honor who you have been, who you are today, and who you are becoming.
Unlike therapy or coaching, spiritual direction is not about fixing or solving—it is about deep listening, noticing, and being present to what is unfolding in your life. It is a sacred companionship that holds space for the ALL of you. Whether you are seeking clarity, connection, or simply a moment to rest in divine presence, spiritual direction offers a gentle, nonjudgmental space to meet yourself and the sacred.
Spiritual direction is a very old practice, and there is much written about it.

What does a spiritual direction session look like?
Spiritual direction looks different for each person—and sometimes, for each session. Together, we listen to what your spirit is most deeply desiring. You may choose to attend spiritual direction sessions to develop a relationship with your spirit or to reconnect after time away. You may be deconstructing your faith and exploring what God means to you. Spiritual direction may also be a time to discover meaning in the way your life is unfolding.
If you are already deeply spiritually connected, you may choose spiritual direction as a way to dedicate time to the divine. One session, you may desire to sit in complete silence or spend that time letting out your frustrations. Another, we could be dancing in joy or tending to the tears of grief. The divine moves in enigmatic ways, as does the human heart. The clearest way to uncover the mystery is to be with it—to surrender to the moment and its specific request of us.
How much does spiritual direction cost?
This offering is meant to be as affordable as possible. The sliding scale is $35-$75 for a session. If you cannot afford $35 for a session and would like to work together, please still reach out.
Why should I ask you to be my spiritual director?
There is only one reason you should choose me as your spiritual director: because my presence is one you can trust. If my energy does not feel safe to you, there are many other spiritual directors and companions in the world who may be more your style. This is a very ancient practice and a growing field.
